Furigana Keyboard Terms of Use

1. Scope
These terms govern use of Furigana Keyboard, provided by the Furigana Keyboard Project. By using the app, you agree to these terms.
2. Service
The app provides Japanese handwriting recognition, reading display, dictionary candidates, and text entry as an Android input method. Recognition and dictionary lookup run on the device.
3. User responsibility
You must use the app in accordance with applicable law and the rights of others. You may not use it for unlawful activity, rights infringement, or to harm another person.
4. Recognition and dictionary limitations
Handwriting recognition, readings, and word candidates are not guaranteed to be accurate. Guaranteed handwriting scope is limited to 6,356 JIS X 0208 kanji labels plus kana. Out-of-dictionary words, names, arbitrary Unicode Han characters, and sentence analysis are outside the guaranteed scope. Review input before confirming it in important contexts.
5. Warranty and liability
The app is provided as is. To the extent permitted by applicable law, no express or implied warranty is made, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, or error-free operation. The provider is not liable for loss arising from use or inability to use the app except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
6. Third-party rights and licenses
Dictionaries, the recognition engine, model, and libraries included in the app are governed by their respective third-party licenses. Details are available under About & licenses. These terms do not restrict rights granted by those licenses.
7. Changes and discontinuation
The app or these terms may be changed for improvement, maintenance, or legal compliance. Provision may be suspended or ended when reasonably necessary.
8. Contact
These terms do not limit consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
